Use a “RAM PUMP” for perpetual energy. Use it in numbers to fill dams!

How many solar/wind/water renewable techniques we got for extracting the energy? Does Solar (Wind) energy could be compensated during the Night (Windless day) by other energy sources? Does Dam is good for energy production, when it's needed to stop the natural flow of the River? How much energy produces Water Mill compared to other possible "friendly" energy sources? And lastly, does collecting energy from Tides, Waves is effective and good way for production, i.e. if country does not have big enough access to the Sea. And not each country fits for using some techniques in energy extraction.

what would make it explode??! the water??! there is litterally nothing is a fusion reactor that can blow up. but lets say that you placed some dinamite near the reactor. in that case, it would be the same as if you blew up a stick of dynamite near a block of concrete, which is not much

sry for my bad english, but if someone really created a perfect fusion reactor....that country will almost have a infinite amount of energy....giving them the power of unlimited usage of railguns and stuffs that needed huge amount of energy per shot....that would be horrible afterall we know that almost all things right now is running using energy....even gundams or fictional big robots would be plausible because the only thing limiting them from existing is that they need huge amount of power to work from....

Nuclear; here is my comment largely on a previous Kurrzgesagt video, it's essence applies here however . Kurrzgesagt; "When the payoff is unlimited free energy for everyone, it might be worth the risk" morally we do not have the right to gamble with other peoples, future generations or the Earths life. The views offered in this video are in essence mistaken and almost certainly intentionally dishonest, even if it's statistics are not necessarily fabricated, but are in some cases impossible to verify. It is dishonest in clearly trying to say nuclear energy saves lives and is one of the safest forms of energy. It is dishonest to say it 'saved two million lives'...there isn't such a clear correlation, for a start, fossil fuels could have been replaced with wind, solar or other energy generations schemes; but there are many reasons to clearly fear man made nuclear energy ; deaths occur from pollution due to coal no doubt, but Fukoshima caused around 160.000 to evacuate, ruined tens of thousands of lives in one stroke in a way coal never has and it may be decades or perhaps never-in human terms- that the actual site area can be made safe. I believe it is clear that statistics favouring nuclear, diminishing it's negative effects are simply the result of the industries power, backing and money and the insanely power crazy nature of some physicists. One British nuclear plant is already £700 million over budget on it's deccomissioning and the fact that they say it 'will take AT LEAST 100 YEARS to do it' shows they do not know how to and this massive problem is just adding to the colossal and totally unnecessary burden we today are leaving to future generations. Some nuclear toxins last tens, hundreds of thousands of years and the many hidden ramifications are so far and wide that we do not even know how to evaluate them, but one thing is for sure, the nuclear industry is built, literally on a foundation of lies and scientific power madness, linked to insane people in power with nuclear bombs at their finger tips. The mining of Uranium has furthermore devastated natural habitats an date lives of Indigenous people from the America's through the Sahel all the way to Australia; nuclear energy generated by man is a crime against humanity and the Earth, the Native Americans have it right when they say; 'Humans should not be messing around with the power of the Sun!" meaning nuclear of course, not solar! True there is certainly a 'dark side to green energy', the hidden costs behind say electric cars, the steel in wind turbines, the copper used in all this electrification, but nuclear is an absolute abomination of crazy scientists, militarists, finance and politicians. This is the real truth, driven by genuine concern for life, not desire to defend profits and power which this video clearly is. Look at the massive amount the world is having to pay to help Russia control Chernobyl...all that expertise, energy, resources should have been spent on something beautiful, life enhancing, but instead colossal amounts of labour, resources, energy are being spent on TRYING DESPERATELY to manage a disaster that was entirely avoidable and is a crime against the Earth and humanity!

@apachewolfscout Well, that was a long reply(I got tired merely looking at it, not just reading it). When all's said and done, the problems we face today about energy and resources---and whether nuclear should be part of that equation---are mainly due one factor, above all others: overpopulation. This is a topic that militant lefties want to avoid, as they have no way to address it, much less justify it. You've made a point of "backing" China's increased greenhouse emissions due to it having one-fifth of the world's population, but I suspect that you wouldn't be so keen to defend China, were it a free-market capitalist democracy like the USA or Australia, rather than the corrupt, rotten-to-the-core communist dictatorship that it still is. God willing, China will, one day be a liberal democracy(though, given the size of the country and its population, it'll no doubt have problems, as the history of democracy in places like India and Russia have shown).

@zorbathegreek @zorbathegreek 'Over-reacting Zorba-great book by the way-but first, before replying, I thank you sincerely for your tone, not usual on YouTube but very much appreciated...my friend, are you a Father? I am but even before I was I was asked if I would teach some children who were being given a break from Russia, just a month eat well and be somewhere healthy...dying from cancer, poor little children, even their teacher...but when you meet the actual real cost rather than statistics and sadly for me, for teh world actually the truth is big business, not just business, the heart of the military industrial-nculaer-space, technological, financial complex wants to defend this mega source of POWER, power hungry people lust after it, produce nuclear weapons capable of decimating all life on EARTH, IT'S ALL CONNECTED...I HAVE READ, 'ABORIGINIES AND URANIUM' AND FOLLOWED THE DESTRUCTION OF ABORIGINAL LANDS AND COMMUNITIES, I HAVE OBSERVED HOW THE TUAREG LANDS AND PEOPLE IN THE SAHEL HAVE BEEN DEVASTATED BY FRENCH URANIUM MINING-(SORRY HEAD DOWN, DIDN'T SEE I WAS CAPS LOCK!)...the thing is when you control government or are it and are media, you can say what you want, hide the relevant statistics or highlight them in ways that lead to dishonesty, for example in teh uK we are constantly told..."The UK has a FAR lower carbon output than China!" True, but then China has one fifth of the worlds population so a straight comparison is highly misleading and why are not Saudi and Australia EVER mentioned when their carbon output relatively is catastrophic? Th estate are played to teh advantage of teh players and the players are not humble but true people such as myself who truly value life, who does not worship technology but 'worships' that which gives us life the river, which needs to be clean and full of fish, the Sea, same, the trees, trees of life...this isn't 'bias' you can't be biased towards what gives you life it is the ONLY sanity...if people respected life, the original nuclear power, one not messed with by human ego's, the Sun, and got out more under it they would be healthier and need less 'energy' ...people need to be made not use less, ration if needs be and an honest look at technology; 40.000 thousand of the top scientists in the world spent ten years trying to get to the MOON, that was entirely unnecessary and incredibly destructive environmentally...if instead they had tried to solve, say batteries-making them super long lasting, recyclable etc, or clean hydrogen or new materials that were truly eco-friednly we could ALREADY have them and have avoided absolute catastrophe which is looming like a giant wave over our heads right now, but dishonest, power and money carry people keep lying, keep cheating, keep stealing, keep distorting...there is a beautiful life out there but it requires honesty, objectivity as well as poetry no doubt and teh nuclear industry I can promise you 100 percent for sure an date Space industry, despite talk of 'spin-off;s' are all atrocities and are certainly not part of any sane solution whatsoever. That I absolutely understand to be the unassailable truth..the Sark but very real facts of the matter. I came to the conclusion after decades of multi-level research, from researching the possible environmental and health effects of different elements over time and frankly also in seeking the truth by fasting in Nature alone and seeking the truth in the old ways-meditating on it with an open heart and mind uncluttered by books, people, computers, thinking, distractions! My dedication-qualification in some way- is to my children, the children, the Earth, to Life itself, nothing else and I am not paid for my opinion, voice, 'work' and it is work, as now, how much have I written an dis this about, several hours on it all, all for nothing, just because I really care!...I am not swayed but 'friends in power-back handers' ( you know, the old, much used; "Let's take a drive in my fancy car, I'll show you around, have a meal-let me introduce you to some girl friends of mine......") or by anything other than the truth. I do not have a PHD or ...lost the rest...to much to re-write it, Have a nice day, stay safe and thanks again Zorba

I think you're over-reacting, to be perfectly honest. Sure, nuclear has its flaws---like military links and costs that are still too high---but it also has enormous potential, given the chance. It's simply a case of research and technological advances making the breakthroughs that have thus far eluded us, and from which we'll reap enormous benefits(except the fossil fuel industries, that'll all go the same way businesses making typewriters and cameras did, i.e., to the wall).

A very important mistake in minute 05:38 - the cost of the project is not 10 billion dollars. The sum given by the European Union to this project since 2007 until 2035 is 25 billion dollars. But including the contributions in kind and in cash from other member states, the exact cost is 45 billion dollars! ITER Communication Service knows this perfectly well: why are they spread this false information about the real cost of this project?

If only capitalism didn't exist... maybe it'll disappear after we achieve fusion. But to achieve fusion, we might need to end capitalism first. What a paradox. Rich humans these days are doing expensive experiments just because they can profit from them; but no one is doing them for science!! We need that. Well, I suggest a temporary solution. Like why don't we do simulations for it? I thought we had enough information about the universe to simulate something such as that? I swear a few atoms would do, we don't need to make the simulated reactor so big. If it worked, then let's just copy it IRL! If it didn't work IRL but worked in the simulation.. that means we've missed some variables which is also good!! Because now we'd have discovered new physics just because of that experiment that defied predictions which is a good thing in a way. And if it not new physics, that means that we didn't copy it accurately enough which might include the environment too.
